Written by ReportLinker | May 30, 2023 8:19:45 AM

In this article, you will learn how to quickly create a matrix that suits your need using Dashboards.

Dashboards are a great way to visualise the information ReportLinker's AI finds about your topics of interest. Moreover, you have the possibility to share information from the matrix with exterior stakeholders to keep them informed on what is happening in your market or industry.

There are three different types of matrices that can be created in your Dashboards section. There are:

  • Sentiment Matrix presents information scored based on Reportlinker's AI technology.
This matrix shows sentiment in three main colours in different bubble sizes that vary by the volume of information that has been found and the score that has been attributed to it by AI technology.
  • Trend Matrix presents information based on the volume of mentions in the collected data.
This matrix shows trends in different bubble sizes that vary by the volume of information that has been found.
  • Risk Matrix presents information based on the negative scores attributed to the collected data.
This matrix highlights risks in different shades of red that vary by the density of information that has been found.

To create a matrix, first go to your Dashboards, select the analytics project you want to create a matrix for.

Then select the type of matrix that you wish to create by clicking on Add a View.

After selecting your matrix type (View), in the pop-up window, you can make several actions, such as :

Choose a title for your matrix. This is the title that will appear on the top of your view and at the top of the downloadable document.

Then you can choose your first dimension. These are the results shown on your vertical axis.

Set the parameters for your second dimension which are the results on your horizontal axis.

Do not forget to click on enter after adding each term.

Next, select the time period for which you wish your data to be shown.

Finally, save your parameters

From there, you will be redirected to your dashboard where you will see your new matrix.

Click on the matrix to expand the results and download your AI-generated custom report.
